Rich transitioned to the Aquilina Consulting Group in 2020 after building his entrepreneurial career as co-founder of the Villard Group, one of the first companies to offer a comprehensive leadership curriculum for technical professionals.

He is a dynamic bridge builder who has cultivated a strong reputation in the industry as a trusted leadership advisor, coach, teacher, facilitator and change agent. He is also recognized for his behavioral training and exceptional observational skills. His experience and practical, team and individual coaching strategies unravel what’s not intuitive, typically not taught in school and not usually acquired on the job.

Rich has worked with a global Who’s Who of leading Fortune 500 companies, academia and the public sector. He has guided hundreds of teams and coached thousands of executives, technical and non-technical leaders and top talent individual contributors in Engineering, Software Development, IT, Technology, Sales, Research and many other subject matter disciplines.

Rich holds a Doctoral Degree from Michigan State University, a Master’s Degree from the University of Connecticut and an Undergraduate Degree from St. Francis College, as well as a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the US Office of Education.
